The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies to the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering expert services including new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency said it is actually alarmed regarding the large number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out sassa status check to your large range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no totally functional office committed to service the area regularly. The provider issue designed for intervention encounters a significant inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it tough to the office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional means to allow the servicing of all prospects and maximize usage of sassa status Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
